Playa Grande lies just north of Tamarindo Beach, inside the bay. The two beaches are separated by a natural salt water estuary called the "Estero Tamarindo". This quiet and serene white sand beach is world renowned as a Leatherback Turtle nesting ground. These giant sea turtles, the largest in the world, arrive between October and March to lay their eggs. There are sightseeing tours, led by official guides, to take visitors to witness first hand this incredible spectacle!

For surfers it is a non-stop playground with both left and right breaks. The waves are often quite big and you are likely to catch a nice tube in one of your surf sessions.

If you like strolling on the beach, this is the perfect place for you! There are a lot of different shells you can collect near the estuary.

One bedroom with a double bed, air conditioning, a sunny living room with cable t.v., bathroom and fully equipped kitchen.
The second bedroom has a double bed, an extra sofa bed for one child and a fan.

The pleasant, open kitchen has an oven, microwave, refrigerator, blender, and all the cookware you need.
The Beachouse offers daily maid service. Laundry service available upon request.
